My fellow parishioners--

    How fitting that last week’s readings focused on hospitality as we, the parish of St. Jude, remembered the past thirty years and looked ahead to many more.

    The true hallmark of our parish has always been the hospitality of the parishioners coming together to help out where needed and that was very evident this past weekend. All of the activities flowed so smoothly due to the many volunteers who came forward to help. It was wonderful to see all of the ministries represented working side by side with each other. As I walked from table to table at the luncheon, I could see that people were enjoying themselves and felt at home with each other. It was evident that we are a parish family.

    I pray that God continues to place His hand upon our parish and lead us into the future, helping us discover new ways to serve Him and our community.

    Thanks again to all who made this day a true celebration.
